Garry via e-mail:"Hi Guys, I was working at an office the other day where about 20 young guys had Mo's. I felt so proud of them because 2 months ago I had my prostate removed for cancer. I am 47 years old and was very lucky to have a wife who worked on a prostate ward and nagged me to get my PSA blood test. My prostate specialist says that I am unlikely to ever be affected by prostate cancer again. I had no family history and no symptoms. Male health awareness is a great cause as I would not have made it to 60."

I have been reading fairly extensively in the past few weeks and got a second opinion before deciding to go the surgery option. This will happen on 16 May. I certainly have some misgivings about it, but on balance think it's the right call for me. Thanks once again for your support."
