Mental Health Guidelines in Esports

A world-first initiative developing international mental health guidelines for competitive online gaming, built in partnership with players, coaches and organisations from around the world. Working with Riot Games and Blast, two of esport's biggest global platforms, plus leading sports psychology experts, Movember is creating a framework that meets the mental health needs of everyone in the game. Whether they're playing for recreation or competing for a world title.

Movember and BLAST are prototyping mental health guidelines and developing an immersive experience embedding mental health promotion into live event streams. Evidence-informed stress and coping workshops are being delivered with esports players, alongside a Stress and Coping journal to extend learnings beyond the session itself.
