The Movember Student Ambassador Programme is officially open for applications.
Students step right up – Movember is looking for Student Ambassadors to lead the charge on campus for Movember 2026.
Have you got confidence, enthusiasm, awesome ideas and a burning desire to do some good in the world? If that sounds like you, get on board and let’s change the face of men’s health together.
- Dan, University of Newcastle
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll lead your university in Movember’s nationwide fundraising challenge. Competing for glory against over 100 unis, you will:
All while spreading life-saving awareness of the three key health issues facing men today: mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.
The programme starts with training at Mo HQ in London (accommodation and travel costs are covered). The Movember team train Ambassadors on all things Movember, with talks and workshops from staff, as well as previous Ambassadors, giving them the tools, confidence and knowledge to go away and run a kick-ass campaign with their fellow students.
Kicking off in Fresher’s Week, ambassadors take over their SU, sports clubs and societies, recruiting students to sign up and join their university challenge page. It’s all to play for each year in the university leaderboard, with lots of creative fundraising activities. Last year saw shave downs, cold sea plunges, quiz nights, 24-hour cycles, battle of the bands, and of course, lots of Mo growing. It was innovative. It was fun. It was hairy.
It's an amazing opportunity for students looking to gain key skills and experience in leadership, marketing, events and fundraising. In return, all Ambassadors will receive references from Movember, personalised support from Movember staff, and special consideration for a summer internship at Mo HQ in London.
Exeter Ambassador Leia West shares how rewarding her role and fundraising at her university have been. She says:
“This role has truly changed my life. It’s pushed me to do things I never thought possible, from facing my absolute biggest fear of heights by skydiving to training for my first marathons. I’ve found a level of confidence and a voice I never knew I had, all while being inspired by the incredible legends at Mo HQ. Being part of this community means having a group of people who have your back just as much as you have theirs. My time as an Ambassador has taught me that while I started this to save one friend, I’m leaving behind a community where no man ever has to feel invisible again."
Think you’ve got what it takes to make an impact and lead your university this Movember? Bring it on. Apply now. Application deadline is Sunday 28th June 2026.
