The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) continued its successful return to full throttle, exceeding all expectations with over 112,000 riders taking to the streets on Sunday, 19 May 2024.

The world’s largest motorcycling event saw 958 cities in 105 countries host rides, including major cities like London, Sydney and Vancouver, as well as those off the beaten track like Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The event has come a long way since it first began as a jaunt around town in 64 cities, DGR has now raised an inspiring grand total of over US$52 million for men’s health.

While fundraising still continues for this year until June 2nd, the annual charity motorcycling event has already raised over US$7 million in a short 8 weeks. The impressive amount has been accumulated by over 112,00 riders, who have donned their dapper attire and fired up their vintage inspired motorcycles, united in their common goal to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

Over the last 12 years, Movember have been proud to watch the DGR community grow from strength to strength and Movember has been privileged to be DGR’s official charity partner since 2016. Together, we have been dedicated to raising funds and awareness of prostate cancer and men’s mental health.

To explore all DGR-funded programs, check out The Distinguished Gentleman's Fund Report, which details the breakdown of Movember's investment in prostate cancer research and men's mental health programs globally.

“It is inspiring to see so many distinguished gentlefolk riding side by side in the 2024 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride,” says Founder and Director of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, Mark Hawwa. “We have ridden with each other on the same day all around the world since 2012. Our community is one that comes together, despite borders and oceans, riding side by side to raise increasingly critical funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer. Each year our causes become even more important. I’m proud to be able to bring over 112,000 riders around the world together for 2024 to raise the profile of men’s health in true dapper style.”

While riders have now taken off their helmets for another year of The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, there’s still plenty of time to show your support and donate at www.gentlemansride.com.

The date for DGR 2025 has already been earmarked for Sunday, 18th May 2025. So, if you missed out this year, and would like to join in the world’s biggest charity motorcycling event, mark your calendars now.
