My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

In the UK, 75% of suicides are male, which on average is 13 men dying each day. The Movember Foundation aims to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030.

Stronger social connections can reduce the risk of suicide, which means more of us blokes talking about stuff that really matters. Those conversations don’t always come easy, but Movember is here to help.

So this Movember along with shaving my glorious beard for a mustache, I will be focusing on having 13 hours of conversations throughout the month.

13 hours is 26 minutes a day jsut to check-in, which when done in time can be life-saving. Growing a moustache is a way to get conversations going about mental health and other men's health issues, but keeping those conversations going to really dig in to find out how one is can be tough.

As my current fitness is too terrible to do a run or a cycle to draw attention and raise money. I'm going to practice what I preach, and be a man of more words by just talking, as that at times can be the most difficult thing to do.

So if up for a chat at any time throughout the month, just drop me a message, and let's have a zoom! Otherwise, look out for a phone call from me! And if able, please donate to this fantastic charity through the link in my bio/below.

On Saturday 19th Movember, Mo Bros Rugby and Kew Occasionals will once again do battle in the name of men's health.

Last year's match ended 39-38 to the visiting team, so you know it's going to be another cracking competition this year. Come along to see highly skilled, moustachioed men chucking a rugby ball about, all in the name of men's health.
Kick off is 14:00 at Richmond Athletic Ground, with the bar open before, during and after! We will then pile into the clubhouse for the England vs. New Zealand game at 17:30, and party the night away…

A big thanks to Bristol Bears who invited Movember over to talk men's health, moustaches and rugby. The month may almost be over, but the conversations don't stop.

A huge thanks to all our rugby Mo Bros & Mo Sisters who have raised over £100,000 this year. Epic! Where will your team finish in the league table?

On Saturday Mo Bros Rugby are playing a charity game down at Richmond. If you're in the area come on down.

Are you hosting an event for Movember?

It's mid-month and the Mos are coming through strong. Farnham RUFC lead the way in the Sports Challenge fundraising leaderboard as I write, but where do you feature?

Don't forget to thank your donors and give potential donors an extra incentive to donate; an example of a Movember funded project, a special thanks from you, or simply because of the terrible itch your moustache is giving you. Thanks sporting Mos, we are over £200,000 raised and going strong!
