Join me for Movember 2020

While 2020 has been a challenging year for so many, it’s made me realise that the work we do is more important and relevant than ever. To watch our Movember community prioritise their health and support each other during this incredibly difficult period has been truly inspiring. But men’s health is still in crisis – mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer still need our help.

Whether you Grow a Mo, take on the Move challenge, get your mates together for a virtual event or create your own challenge (we call it Mo Your Own Way), you’ll be making a real difference in the lives of real men.

We do what we do because of numbers like this:

  • Globally, men die nearly 6 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.
  • Each year more than 500,000 men die by suicide around the world. In fact, suicide is the leading cause of death globally among men aged 15-29.
  • More than 1.3 million men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.
  • And testicular cancer is the most common cancer among men aged 15-39.
It’s not hard to see why we need to act now. And why we need you with us.

Since 2003, thanks to people like you, Movember has raised millions of dollars for men’s health. With that money we’ve led game-changing research, funded scientific breakthroughs in cancer treatments and developed mental health and suicide prevention programs that have saved and changed lives. We’ve come a long way, but there’s much more to be done.

So, are you in? If there’s one thing I can promise it’s that you’ll have a whole lot of fun while doing a whole lot of good – and I know we could all do with a bit of fun right now.

To get on board for Movember 2020, head here.

Thank you and Mo on,

Robert Dunne
