We take a look back at some of the tightly fought; moustache fuelled, sporting achievements of the month.

Movember Sporting Highlights
1 MIN READ
It was a moustache filled sporting month with sporting codes playing games in both New Zealand and aboard – Mo Bro vs Mo Bro.  From All Black Brodie Retallick’s ‘Mo’s on Tour’ taking on the Northern Hemisphere teams, to the final round of the NZ SuperTourers at Ruapuna and Burt Munro Challenge in Southland, there were moustaches of all shapes and sizes to behold.

Perhaps most importantly were the two games played right here in our own backyard.

The first, the Inaugural Movember Twenty20 Match at Auckland Domain on Friday Movember 23rd followed by the hotly contested Revival Forceback Competition at Malvern Park in Christchurch on Saturday Movember 24th.

The Movember Twenty20 tested the cricketing skills of Mo Bro Ambassadors Wairangi Koopu, Matt Watson and Will Hall against the likes of comedian Dai Henwood, ex Al Black and Blues player Daniel Braid and ex Black Cap Lou Vincent.

Next up, the Revival Forceback Competition in Christchurch proved a hard fought competition. A special thank you to Mo Bros Rhys Narby and Richard Page for organising the event and raising a massive $10,000 for Movember 2012!
