My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

I lost my dad at 53 (buried him on my bday)
I lost my father in law at 58 (partner had a miscarriage the following day)

I have come from abusing my body with alcohol, drugs, junk food, suffering alone, sleep deprived, pretending to be ok when I wasn't with a lump on testicle.

To work as a running coach, strength and conditioning, stress management and epigenetics coach.

I have gone around New Zealand telling my story to help men who are suffering in silence. Telling them that it is ok to ask for help and seeing a therapist saved my life. Last year I was able to help 2 people who were battling with suicidal thoughts.

My aim is to be an example to others that being proactive about preventable health is the key, that getting help is normal and expected, your community/ family needs you and that the key is health is to keep it simple and consistent.

Another aim is to heal from the trauma I have suffered so I don't pass it on to my son (next generation). To become an emotionally more aware and resilient man, tackling my issues head on instead of running from them.

I am also a Lululemon ambassador who is the running leader for more than a run 2021.
