My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Last year I ran over 400 km during Movember, and this year I’m taking it up a notch, a 24-hour, 260+ km triathlon mission from Lake Taupō to Port Waikato I’m calling the Movember MO-nster.

Last year’s run absolutely buried me, but it also showed just how many parallels there are between a brutal physical challenge and the mental health journey. You hit walls, you doubt yourself, you want to quit… but with support, grit, and purpose, you keep moving forward.

This year I want to raise as much money and awareness as I can for an epic cause - because sometimes you have to do crazy shit to make a difference.

Good work Dan. I like the ‘training for 3 or 4 weeks’ - it’s important not to overtrain.

Hey Team, Movember is officially underway! I've added a special incentive for all those who donate to my page. For every $10 contributed, you'll earn an entry into the LondonGreen prize draw, where you could win incredible rewards, from an Apple Watch to a Waihi weekend getaway.

Hi Dan,

I’m the Fundraising Manager for Movember New Zealand. I just wanted to say well done for being 2nd on the New Zealand Individual Leaderboard, raising $5600!

I love that your students helped you to get involved with Movember, and that you've done such an incredible job since! Congrats on hitting and passing your target as well!

Please feel free to flick me a email at alex.king@movember.com if there's anything I can help with in these final stages.

Keep up the brilliant work.

United we Mo,
Alex.
