My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I'm a man and a firefighter who has been affected by psychological injury and suicide. Unfortunately, my personal experience is not unique, with the global and national suicide rates for men being devastatingly high. It is also true that my workmates, first responders, are at higher risk for psychological injury, in part, as a consequence of their exposure to trauma - we've lost too many of them already.

Thankfully Movember is here to help, and is focused on supporting men's mental and physical health while also supporting first responders - they've just set 9 million NZ dollars to support suicide prevention and mental health programs for first responders, how epic is that!

So I'm taking part in Movember to raise awareness of male and first responder suicide and psychological injury, and also to support the good buggers at Movember who are choosing to support us. So please consider donating to this cause, whether it's through my page or someone else's, to support all the brothers, fathers, husbands, and sons out there.

Much Love, Josh.
