My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Mental Health has been such a huge issue for both myself and my family, all my life. My mother had psychotic paranoia, I have clinical depression and an anxiety disorder and the rest of my family has been deeply affected by mental health. I have had friends attempt suicide and have even been part of coaching them back from that edge, whether before or after.

Communication around this is better than it ever has been but we need to continue to open this dialogue. This is an illness like any other and it needs to be normalised in the same way because IT IS normal and that's okay.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many of us are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop people dying too young.
