Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

This is why I am getting involved in Movember this year !

It is devastating to hear that nearly 600 New Zealanders (of which 444 were male) decided that they could go no further last year. As reported before last year's Movember, this fact came closer to home as a friend of mine was one of the over 5,000 people in the UK that came to that similar conclusion during 2020.

There are many reasons as to why people decide to and my hope is that through participating once more (even if the efforts are only really obvious for one month per annum) that we can prevent someone somewhere from being part of this grim statistic.

The work this charity do is fantastic, not only to support mental health work but in raising awareness of men's health issues - and I hope you'll consider sponsoring me to go one step further this year and not just grow a MO but MOVE too !

I'll be growing a MO to rival last years, but more concerning to me is the challenge of me MOving on a bicycle to the tune of 444 kms during November. This is a big number and worthy of a small part of your time and money, as my time in the saddle to date is very limited ! It represents 1km for each of the kiwi males that are suspected to have committed suicide in 2020.

So message to you all, please take your time to look after yourself, share support when asked and actively check in with your wider network….

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
