My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

New Zealand has a shameful suicide rate. Men not being the best at talking about their worries means too many struggle in silence. In my line of work in Ara Poutama Aotearoa the Department of Corrections, the numbers are higher than the community average. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there by reducing the stigma around mental health. We’d get treatment for a physical injury and the brain should get the same support. Help me stop men dying too young and leaving families to pick up the pieces.
