Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Being a husband and father has been one of the most rewarding and challenging parts of my life.

My daughter has Rett syndrome, a rare neurological condition that affects almost every aspect of her daily life. As a family, we’ve had to navigate challenges we never expected, and it’s taught me a lot about faith, resilience, perspective and the importance of looking after each other.

Through it all, my faith in Jesus has been a source of strength. I’m grateful for the blessings in my life, even through the challenges, and I trust in Him to guide me through whatever lies ahead.

As a husband and father, I want to be strong for my family, but I’ve also learnt that being strong doesn’t mean carrying everything on your own. Sometimes it means leaning on God and the people around you.

That’s why I’m getting behind Movember.

Through my work in the construction and education industry, I’ve also seen the challenges men face with mental health. Sadly, we’ve lost apprentices to suicide, and I know there are many more out there going through difficult times.

This Movember, I’m growing a mo and moving 60km to recognise the 60 men lost to suicide every hour around the world.

For me, this isn’t just about raising money. It’s about being a better husband, father and mate, looking after our own mental health and making sure the people around us know they’re not alone.

If you can, please donate to support men’s health. Otherwise, check in on a mate, start a conversation or get involved yourself.

Every little bit makes a difference.

“If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.” — Admiral William H. McRaven
