raised $11,031 since 2024
My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

Earlier this year, we lost Alex's father Darrell to prostate cancer.

Darrell was a true leader and most importantly a great dad. He ran a boutique landscaping company in Auckland for 40+ years, completing countless amazing outdoor transformations in the city.

Darrell had a hard fought battle for over 2 years. He was a fighter at heart, and beat the odds to stick it out as long as he did.

This was our first encounter with a loved one and cancer, and it opened our eyes to a devastating reality. This is what pushed us to go outside our comfort zone and attempt an audacious challenge that he would be proud of.

In losing Darrell, we lost both a father and a role model - someone who we and many others looked up to and learned from every day. Any money raised will go towards helping patients & families who are currently going through their own battle.
