This Movember, I’m raising awareness for something that will touch most of us during our lives - mental health. As men, we often keep things to ourselves, thinking we’ve got to handle it alone but that mindset can do more harm than good.

Mental health struggles don’t discriminate, and whether it’s stress, anxiety, or depression, talking about it can be a gamechanger. Movember is a reminder to break the silence, start conversations, and create a space where mates feel safe opening up.

Too often, the toughest battles are fought in silence. We’re all guilty of putting on a brave face, but the truth is - asking for help or simply talking to a mate can make a huge difference. This month, it’s about more than growing a moustache. It’s about having real conversations about how we’re really doing and showing that it’s okay not to have it all together. The more we talk about mental health, the more we normalise it, and the more guys feel comfortable sharing what’s going on inside.

Whether it’s lending an ear to a mate, sharing your story, or just being there, every little bit counts.
