Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I have a dream where we live in a world where everyone has access to meaningful human connection.

Where people feel safe asking for help.
Where saying “I’m not okay” is met with compassion.
Where making friends as an adult doesn’t feel impossible.

That’s why I started Tough Yarns... a social project where I ask strangers to do difficult things with me to inspire connection and start meaningful conversations. Right now, that means jumping in a freezing lake in Queenstown. In November, it’ll mean something bigger.

I’ll be riding all 23 of New Zealand's official Great Rides, to raise $230,000 for Movember and start a movement around mental health, vulnerability, and doing the difficult thing.

We’re not doing this just to raise money.
We’re doing it to prove something far more important…
That difficult is relative, but everyone can do their difficult thing.
That meaningful connection is possible.
That everyone deserves and can get access to help and support.

This challenge is built around one big idea:
Doing difficult things, together, helps us grow.

Whether it’s a freezing lake or a month long bike ride, the goal is the same - to show that doing the difficult thing can be a bridge to real human connection. That choosing to show up, even imperfectly, is still showing up.

Tough Yarns has already reached hundreds of thousands - by inviting them into a moment of discomfort and connection. But this ride is where we take it further. This is where we turn a daily cold dip into international inspiration.

Every pedal stroke is for the people who feel like they’re struggling alone.
Every trail is for someone who hasn’t found the courage to ask for help yet.
Every connection we create is a reminder ... we don’t have to do this alone.

If this mission connects with you, I’d be honored if you’d donate, share, or even jump in (whether that’s into a cold lake or just a hard conversation).
Let’s make this ride matter… together.
