My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

This is my 14th year participating in Movember, This year I am focusing on Mental Health and suicide prevention, Early this year my older cousin Sam very sadly took his life and it has left a massive whole for his family and everyone how knew him. He will be very missed by us all.

A couple of family friends have been partaking in drug trials partly funded by Movember in the UK, so Movember is a very important charity to me and helping to talk about Men's Health

Globally, more than 1.4M men are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year. Movember is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.
On a personal level, over the years of supporting Movember, I have a number of family friends and work colleagues family member who have been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
Stats for New Zealand:
• In New Zealand, men die 3 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons.
• 3 out of 4 suicides are men.
• Suicide is the leading cause of death in men aged between 15 and 59 in New Zealand.
• Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men.
• Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young New Zealand men.
