My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

Us lads are unfortunately last ones to ask for help usually.

Over the last 4+ years I have battled my own mental demons who have taken me to some pretty dark thoughts.

But I am blessed to have love of my family and amazing friends who have supported me so much.

But most importantly the counselling I took for my PTSD from aggravated robbery I was victim of in 2019 has helped me immensely.

I ignored it for a very long time which led to some very poor mental health but I am happy and proud to have taken the help finally. Which led to me running for Parliament and being a much bigger voice to help others.

Unfortunately for many it is often too late.

Our fathers, partners, brothers and friends are dying too young. The funds MOVEMBER raise are taking on some of the biggest issues affecting men’s health.

I am also fundraising by sharing profits from my latest whisky release for EightPm.co.nz + ill be holding a whisky tasting to raise more funds for Movember ( more on this later )
