Initially, we wanted to run a marathon purely for the accomplishment - but then we thought it’d a great opportunity to raise some funds for a cause that resonates close to home.
We recognise the serious issues New Zealanders currently face regarding men’s mental health, and as young men, we want to do our part in combating the issue.
We know that mental health battles are constant. Our struggle stops at the 42.2km mark - whereas theirs can continue indefinitely.
We want to help those affected by this harsh reality.
