Our Motivation

"Tbf tho it would be a brilliant day for the beach."

What started off as an inside joke between best mates, turned out to be the inspiration for this year's Movember challenge.

On the 18th of November, we (Ashan and Shaun) will embark on a physical endevour like no other, all in the name of raising money for the Movember foundation. Starting at the crack of dawn, we will begin our trek from Island Bay Beach, and will not stop until we reach Titahi Bay Beach. Up the hills, through the valleys, and down all the mountains.

Every hour, 60 men will feel there is no other option. And every year, The Order of the Mo move 60km during Movember to raise awareness. We decided it was important to take on that challenge in one sitting, putting ourselves through a miniscule fraction of the pain and suffering that those men worldwide do.

We will be posting updates as we gear up for the big day here (as much as we can) and more frequently on Instagram (@project_beach_24). Please consider donating to this cause, as the money raised truly goes to the places that matter.
