Across New Zealand 617 people took their own life. Of that 445 were men. As for young people suicide is the leading cause of death in New Zealand for people between the ages of 15-19. These numbers aren’t changing.
So we’re running 617 km in the month of November to raise awareness for each life lost last year. In the hope that we can start some conversations.

If we fail to acknowledge this then these numbers aren’t going to change. Everyone can do their bit whether it be starting conversations with a mate or even donating a couple bucks to help make our system better.

Men’s mental health is a cause that is close to our hearts. Seeing the impact it can have on people and the weight some people carry alone.

We’re wanting to do our bit to help let people recognise that you’re not alone you are never alone. In particular for young people who often get brought down in their thoughts, you’re not alone. It’s ok to talk to someone, it’s ok to recognise you are struggling.

For those fighting their own battles now it’s not easy, but you never have to do it alone.
