My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

When I was 16, a very close family friend, my de facto uncle, took his own life. He was the same age that I am now, 42, and that has bought home to me that it is not just an affliction that takes young men. We need to make sure that everyone is okay and supported in their life journey, regardless of age, or how they seem.

Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

I'm running and riding 481km this Movember for the 481 men NZ lost to suicide in 2019. I will also do one 60km run for the 60 men we lose each hour of every day worldwide.
