To add some fun to the cause, we're holding a 'Best Moustache Award' competition! We invite you to showcase your moustache prowess by sending in pictures of your fabulous facial hair. This is your chance to not only flaunt your 'stache style but also to inspire others to join the movement for future campaigns.
Awards will be awarded to:
Best Navy Moustache
Best Army Moustache
Best Air Force Moustache
Best Civilian Moustache
Supreme Award – for the best overall NZDF Moustache

Here's how to enter:
1. Snap a photo of your moustache in all its glory.
2. Send your picture to tane.toa@nzdf.mil.nz with the subject line "Movember Moustache Entry."
3. Include a brief caption sharing why you're participating in Movember and supporting men's health.

Thank you for being a key part of this important movement. Winners will be announced via ILP in December (date TBC)

Together we MO!

Looks like we will have to pull out all the stops with the strong competition this year (and knock FENZ off 1st place). But hey it’s only Day 3.
Awesome effort so far team, remember to use this space to post your Mo progress for some MO-tivation for others.

Hey NZDF!

Brilliant to have you back on board this year after an incredible 2020 and taking out the title of the First Responder Challenge winners. What a cracking start with raising over $3k at the end of Day 1, you're absolute legends! Massive shout out to the Chief of Defence Force for getting involved too.

Please share what you're up on this page, and even the other teams pages. I can confirm that compliments and even good-natured banter is proven to effectively increase Mo-lustre, potency and gains by upwards of 115%, 70% of the time. Every time.

If you need anything from me email alex.king@movember.com.

Only a few days to Mo. Hit me up if you want some Movember wristlets for your unit and I’ll send them out. If you want to share your shave down pics you can email them to tana.toa@nzdf.mil.nz

Follicles quivering? Yeah, that happens. It’s called the acute Movember anticipation effect. Feels nice, right? The question is, will the NZDF take out the 'First Responders Challenge' for the second year in a row? I have already chatted to Brad and he has some great ideas in place, I wouldn't be surprised if you came away with bragging rights and the trophy once again.
Last year, you raised an incredible $30,000! We truly are so grateful for the effort you put into raising awareness and funds for men's health and the impact those funds have had in NZ have been life saving.

Awesome effort with Movember. I’m coordinating the NZDF Challenge efforts and wanting to do a last ditch promo to get to our $30,000 target (only 3K to go). If you are happy to, can you send a current Mo selfie or of whatever you have been doing to support Movember to bradley.poulter@nzdf.mil.nz or to me via Facebook. Cheers and remember to share your Mo Space on social media. This is for an incredible cause, thanks for the awesome work.
