Our Motivation

Kia ora and welcome to PwC New Zealand Movember space for 2026!

This year, our inspiration is the ripple effect that can come from improving men’s mental health and wellbeing.

When one person feels supported to speak up, reach out or look after their wellbeing, the impact can extend well beyond them. It can strengthen relationships with friends and colleagues, support whānau, create healthier teams and contribute to stronger communities.

That is the ripple effect we want to create across PwC New Zealand this Movember.

-- Everyone can get involved --

Movember may have started with the Mo, but it has become much bigger than the moustache. Our Mo Bros, Mo Sisters and Mo-vers all have an important role to play.

You can grow a Mo, set yourself a fundraising challenge, organise an event, support a colleague or find your own way to get involved.

You can also Mo-ve for Movember. Walk, run, cycle, hike or get moving however you like. Link your Strava account and collect all Kudos (and the kilometres) you can. Each completed session will automatically contribute to the PwC New Zealand total.

However you choose to take part, it all adds up.

Every dollar raised by our people contributes to our PwC New Zealand fundraising total, and every kilometre Mo-ved contributes to our collective movement total.

-- A big role for our Mo Sisters --

Men’s health affects all of us, and our Mo Sisters are an important part of creating the change we want to see.

You can fundraise, Mo-ve, organise activities, encourage others to get involved and help create an environment where conversations about mental health and wellbeing feel normal.

Sometimes the most meaningful contribution is simply checking in on someone and giving them the space to talk.

-- Get involved across PwC --

Throughout Movember, our offices and teams across New Zealand will be hosting events, challenges and activities to bring people together and build some friendly competition into the month.

Keep an eye out for what is happening in your office and within your teams. There will be plenty of opportunities to get involved, support your colleagues and help build our PwC New Zealand total.

You can also make Movember your own. Get your team together, come up with a challenge or fundraiser, and find a way to contribute that works for you.

Let’s build some Mo-mentum and see how far the ripple can travel.

Hi Team,

I’m the Fundraising Manager for Movember New Zealand. I just wanted to say well done for being in the top 20 on the New Zealand Team Leaderboard and raising $10,408!

You guys are clearly doing an incredible job with the amount you've raised, especially as it's over your target of 10k! I'm sure you'll continue to smash it.

Feel free to shoot me an email at alex.king@movember if there's anything I can do to help.

Keep up the brilliant work, we couldn't do it without you all.

United we Mo,
Alex.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
