Our Motivation

Kia Ora everyone,

This team is dedicated to raising funds for suicide prevention and awareness of New Zealand's mental health crisis.

The team name 'Spag Bol' is dedicated to our dear friend Hadley, who sadly took his own life in 2019. We loved Hadley and miss him greatly, and we are determined to use the great initiative that is Movember to help raise funds for mental health and suicide prevention.

We would really appreciate your support and input to this cause, and it doesn't just have to be about money. It could involve reaching out to a mate or a family member to check how they are doing, promoting physical and mental health amongst your peers, or setting up your own initiative to support this awesome cause.

Mental health.
Men's health.
Suicide.

These are all gnarly topics. They can be difficult, confronting and uncomfortable to discuss and have a conversation about.

But if we don't do something, we are going to continue to lose our mates.

This team is dedicated to doing all it can to support Movember, so that we can start to make some headway towards New Zealand's mental health and suicide crisis.

So please get in behind us and support team Spag Bol.
